Halau Hula a Kawika laua 'o Leinani are well
respected and highly involved in the Hawaiian community. Our dancers are
also involved in E Hula Mau. They compete and are recipients of several
awards for their outstanding display of hula. We received high awards at
the ia 'oe e Ka La Pleasanton Competition. Our latest performance, He inoa
no Kalakaua, was a first ever collaboration of the Kumu Hula Association
of Southern California featuring over 200 dancers from over a dozen hula
studios. We also perform annually at our very own Hoike concert to
showcase our passion for hula.
